The 3rd Annual OJG 100-Hole Marathon 

On October 5th, 2019 we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Oregon Junior Golf 100-Hole Marathon at Charbonneau Golf Club. An exciting day of golf is planned for all participants, which will include numerous prizes, contests, food/drinks, and hopefully a few hole-in-ones! Each team will consist of two competitors that will each play 50-holes (100 combined). 

Participants may seek pledges for each hole they play or ask for a single flat donation. There is no fee for teams to play in this event.

Proceeds for the Marathon go toward supporting the various programming managed by Oregon Junior Golf. These include the expenses of organizing tournaments, travel costs, Youth on Course subsidies, and more. 

The Oregon Junior Golf Fund, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which means donations are tax deductible. 
FORMAT 
Each team will play 100-holes combined (50-holes/person). The format of the event will be a 2-player Best Ball (net & gross). In this format, each golfer plays their own ball until the hole is completed and only the lowest score is counted for the team. 

FUNDRAISING BENCHMARKS
Teams that do an exceptional job with their fundraising efforts will earn rewards if they can pass any of the three benchmarks.    

LEVEL 1: $1,500+ Each teammate may select one prize.

LEVEL 2: $2,500+ Each teammate may select two prizes.

LEVEL 3: $4,000+ Each teammate may select four prizes.

All prizes earned through surpassing each level will be ordered immediately following the OJG Marathon and drop-shipped to the participants place of residence.

AWARDS & CONTESTS 
Immediately following the Marathon, OJG will handout awards to the winners of the following categories: 

  1. Top-3 Teams that secure the most fundraising.
    (As of 12:00 PM on 10/5). 
  2. 1st – 3rd Place Gross (2-player best ball). 
  3. 1st – 3rd Place Net (2-player best ball). 
  4. Best Dressed Team (twinsies!!!). 
  5. Closest to the Pin (Each Par-3 will have a CTP contest!). 

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS  

7:15 AM

 Check-in at Registration 

8:00 AM

 Teams will begin the Marathon at their starting hole. 

12:00 PM

 Lunch will be provided (and delivered) to golfers while they are still on the course. 

3:30 PM 

Teams must be finished with their 100-holes.
If not yet complete, we will still pull you off the golf course to start the banquet.

4:00 PM 

Teams must be finished with their 100-holes.
If not yet complete, we will still pull you off the golf course to start the banquet.

5:00 PM

Go home and get some rest!
