The mission of Oregon Junior Golf is to introduce youth to the game of golf, encourage friendships and a life-long love for the game, provide competition, and facilitate programs serving young golfers of all skill levels. While the core of Oregon Junior Golf has been providing championship events to the most competitive juniors in our area, in 2014, OJGA expanded its programming and dedicated funds to support the Youth on Course access program through the Jacobsen Youth Initiative. As OJGA helps to eliminate the cost barrier to the game, an increased number of junior golfers are currently playing and practicing for just $5 green fees at over 50 local courses.
